Victims should not have to adapt to technology.
Technology should adapt to victims.

What is a Digital Mole?

A Digital Mole enters WhatsApp groups where victims and their families are gathered, reads their questions, finds answers from verified sources, and delivers them in plain, direct language.

You don't wait for people to find the information. You bring the information to them.

What you need

📱

A phone with internet

It's the only technical tool required.

🧭

Initiative

Enter, read, search, respond. Without waiting to be assigned a task.

🤝

Patience and empathy

The people you're helping are scared. Tone matters as much as information.

💬

Plain language

No technical terms. If your grandmother wouldn't understand it, find another way to say it.

How it works

You'll get access to an internal WhatsApp channel where we share updated information, new resources, and answers to common questions. You can also escalate questions you can't answer on your own.

Information sources include missing persons platforms, affected buildings registries, hospital directories, relief centers, shelters, and rescue organizations. You'll receive the full list when you join.

What you are not

You are not a rescuer. You are not an authority. You do not promise help that doesn't exist. Your job is to connect people with reliable information — nothing more, nothing less.

In practice

"Log into the bot and query the API."
"I'll do the search for you. Give me the person's full name."
"You need to fill out this form."
"I'll send you the link and walk you through it step by step if you'd like."
